Gavin has also been involved in testing Beta versions of HEC-RAS. The output from the modelling has been used to inform the decision-making process in relation to flood hazard planning and flood alleviation scheme appraisal. He has produced models for clients such as The World Bank, Environment Agency and Network Rail. Gavin has undertaken a wide range of studies utilising the functionality of HEC-RAS. Gavin is one of our senior modellers based in our Skipton office. No prior knowledge or experience of HEC-RAS is required, although some knowledge of river modelling/hydraulics will be beneficial.
